FTEF Staff
A member of the Franklin Township Comunity since 2007, Stephanie was hired by FTEF in the Executive Director role in January 2024. With an extensive background in customer service and non-profit fundraising events, she is ready to put her talents to work for Franklin Township! Stephanie resides in FT with her husband and two sons who have attended FC schools since kindergarten. She has served in various volunteer roles with local sports and school organizations, and looks forward to continuing to help the community through her role at FTEF.
2025 FTEF Board of Directors
Ryan Thomas joined FTEF in 2023. He’s a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones and lives in Franklin Township with his wife and two daughters, who also attend FTCSC schools. He enjoys sports, playing the guitar, and supporting his daughters in their many endeavors. He is looking forward to giving back to his home community.
Tara has been living in Franklin Township for almost 20 years and considers it her home. While she did not attend school here, her two sons have been attending FTCSC schools since Kindergarten. She has been involved with FT youth sports and looks forward to continuing her involvement in FT through education as well. Tara proudly joined FTEF in 2022.
Roberta is the President of The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. She resides in Franklin Township with her husband, a 1994 Franklin Central graduate, and daughter. Roberta joined FTEF in 2020.
Chad grew up in Franklin Township and graduated from Franklin Central in 2016. He currently lives on the near southside of Indianapolis where he works as a videographer for a local creative agency. Chad became a part of the FTEF in 2022.
Joining the board in 2018, Rebecca and her family moved to Franklin Township in 2013. She has two FCHS graduates and two current FCHS students. Rebecca is proud to serve alongside other board members for the betterment of FTCSC!
Dr. Heather Finn and her family moved to Franklin Township in 2018 when she became an administrator in FTCSC. Her children are both students in FT and she celebrates her love of educators by supporting the school district through FTEF.
Marc was a Franklin Township resident, FCHS graduate and former First Grade teacher for 36 years at Bunker Hill Elementary. He is blessed to be married to the love of his life for 25 years and serves as a children’s pastor at White River Christian Church. He says “The best years of my life were spent teaching our children in Franklin Township.”
Heather is a lifetime resident of Franklin Township and a graduate of FCHS. She is a Senior Project Architect with VPS Architecture, and actively involved in the work to improve school environments across the state. Heather and her husband are residents of Franklin Township, and their three children also attend FTCSC schools. She is excited to join the board and serve the community she loves.
Kim was born and raised in Franklin Township and is a proud graduate of FCHS: Class of 2004. Excited to serve her community, Kim is a Real Estate Broker with Hoosier, REALTORS and resides locally with her husband and two daughters who also attend FTCSC schools. Kim joined FTEF in 2020.
Kent has lived in Franklin Township for almost 20 years. All three of his children were born and raised in Franklin Township, attending FTCSC schools. Kent is an administrator in FTCSC schools and was hired in January 2016 as the Principal at Bunker Hill Elementary School. In 2018, Kent left Bunker Hill to take his current position as FTCSC’s Chief Communication and Public Relations Officer. Kent is also an Elder at The Creek. He loves Franklin Township and has a passion for serving his community.
Venessa works for Everwise Credit Union as a mortgage loan officer and joined the Board of Directors in 2023. She fills her weekends attending her children’s many sporting events in cross country, basketball and soccer. A 20+ year resident of Franklin Township, Venessa loves supporting the schools and making a positive impact.
Jerome has lived in Franklin Township since Jan, 2012. He plays an active role with all of Franklin Townships major construction projects, joining FTEF in 2022. In addition, he has supported the FTCSC in many ways especially in helping to get quality contractors to work within the district on all of their schools that include new builds and renovations.
Janelle grew up near West Lafayette and settled in Franklin Township after graduating from IU Bloomington. Her and her husband Kyle have 3 children. The oldest is a 2023 FCHS graduate. Janelle is an active member of the community and church.
